Food was great and the friendliness very nice.

The food here was amazing. I got the fried chicken and fried corn and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was very tasty. The service was excellent. As soon as we came in we were waited on. The waitress was so friendly. The prices were great too. I will definitely return!

Delicious. Since it is prepared per order, it did take time to dry the chicken, but it was worth the wait. I was alone, but they didn't care. Very friendly! They all introduced themselves. Will be going back!

Food was excellent. Lemon cake with lemon icing was spot on. Reminded me of my grandmother's cakes. Great customer service.

This was my first time here and it was absolutely amazing!! I had the fried oysters and I'm here to tell you they were possibly the best I have ever had!! The food is cooked to order and the wait staff were all very friendly!!! This is definitely going to be a place I visit again soon!!

I always stop here on my way to & from our mtn vacay. The people here are great. Even when it's packed & super busy, the staff gives friendly service with a smile. The food is awesome & price is right.

Shrimp was bought at Sam's in box fried to death. Hushpuppies were almost black. Oysters were small and had no flavor. The service was good.

Great oysters last night take out. When back today for supper. Was just fantastic cat fish n oysters again. Love this place and Wonderful staff. Cooked my catfish just right. Complimented to the cook.

So much food! Everything was delicious. I used the drive-thru and the lady that waited on me was very patient and extremely helpful. Food was absolutely delicious.

Everyone at work says the food is good here but both times i have tried it i was not impressed, chicken fingers are my go to for quick orders anywhere, here they are weird looking and taste funny almost like they have been freezer burned then fried with no flavor. The gravy was gross with no flavor at all, its like they don't use salt on anything! The only thing i enjoyed was the slice of Texas toast i threw the rest in the trash fries and all! Maybe their other food is good, but the way those fingers tasted i'm scared to try anything else! Wont go back!

I ordered the 12 piece chicken strips. i ate all of them & later got sick and threw up. If you order food from this restaurant make sure you check it before you eat. I really disliked it because of that other than that it was an okay place. A very country atmosphere that will make you feel like you are at home. The waitress was very kind and refilled the drinks when they were almost empty. Great service.

Great meat and 3 when ordering off the menu but don't ask for special techniques. This throws them off and takes 30 minutes to get the food. Straight off the board was great and a good deal!

If I could give a 0 I would. No hair nets or gloves. Nobody washed their hands. Cashier was good service but everything else was unprofessional. Fried chicken in fish grease,if I wanted fish then I'd ask for fish. I dont recommend this place at all.

Amazing place with such wonderful employee's. The owner is so personable and friendly. He will even walk around and speak to everyone. My husband always orders the lizards and I love the hamburger steak. They have fried corn on the cob that is out of this world. The first time we ate here, Jeff, the owner, told us if we didn't think the fried oysters were the best in town they would be on the house. He was right, they were the best my husband has every had. We will for sure be returning to The Chicken Basket. Great job Jeff to you and your employees.

My server was so nice. She was fabulous. I tried the beef n veggie soup, cold mac salad, green beans, and fries. Yummy! I'm coming back for some seafood. I loved the mac salad.

Ordered the polish sausage with fries and 2 piece dark chicken.. polish and fries was very good . The chicken was hot, fresh, crispy but bland. Very nice workers. Maybe my taste buds weren't feeling the chicken that day...

Good place if your looking for a good basic home cooked meal for a very reasonable price and great service.

Very friendly employees the kid enjoyed his fries both gravies very thin breading for the steak no real flavor and if I had stepped up to the cash register before eating I would have chose not to eat dining area appeared clean cooking area not so much which is disappointing because after looking at the menu plenty of things then I was looking forward to trying but unfortunate we will not be back
